Tortola based artist, Gabrielle Denae Hoyte who was nominated for the Artist of the Year Award, Audio Ministry of the Year and International Artist of the Year Award at the 25th Gospel Choice Music Awards in Georgia, was thrilled when her name was announced as the winner of the Audio Ministry of the Year and International Artist of the Year awards.
Hoyte attended artist development workshops, networked with industry professionals and were given the opportunity to perform and minister live at the Awards Show.
These are the first international awards for Gabrielle Hoyte who had previously won a regional award at the 2017 Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards Ceremony in the Bahamas for her song, “Pave the Way”.
Hoyte traveled to Atlanta, Georgia with Darryl Flanders, Producer Brent Hoyte and drummer, Kennel Stoute, with hopes of not only winning awards but opening doors for the British Virgin Islands' Gospel music industry.
Brother, Brent Hoyte, was nominated for the Producer of the Year and Instrumentalist of the Year Awards, Oneyke Huggins was nominated for the Video Ministry of the Year Award and another local artiste, Kendra, was nominated for the International Artist of the Year Award.
